(For Firefox for Android)
Right now, when opening a link in a new tab, Firefox places it all the way on the far right of the tab strip.
With many tabs open, this becomes inconvenientโespecially when the current tab is far from the right edge. After checking the new tab, returning to the original tab requires unnecessary scrolling or searching.
Proposal:
Place new tabs opened from the current page directly next to the current tab to keep related tabs grouped and make navigation faster.
Benefits:
Keeps related tabs together, boosting workflow efficiency.
No need to scroll the tab strip to return to the original tab.
Matches behavior of other browsers and Firefox desktop (browser.tabs.insertAfterCurrent = true).
