Block display of picture, video, and video thumbnails unless a particular one is clicked on

Firefox used to have a feature, I think, that prevented the display of images, thumbnails, and video. I would like this because the internet is filled with inappropriate images, especially youtube. The idea is to have just the text displayed and all images and autoplay blocked. The thought is that when a link is clicked on, then its image is displayed. The web is getting to the point that I have to avoid certain sites to avoid seeing these things. The browser that has this feature would be my main browser. Right now, it seems that none of the browsers have this feature.
