Autosave changes to local pdf after edit ( or manually without asking path )

also add the feature of saving PDF automatically after modification (based on its location in local) instead of asking user for path after any modifications

I used to take notes in PDF documents as comments. But when I save it it does not save directly to the current document, Instead I have to save it as a separate file somewhere and go to the my notes folder and replace original file with the new one using windows file explorer. This is so annoying and I switched to EDGE browser just for note taking because of this problem so please fix this simple issue. I want my comments to save to the current document when I press Ctrl+S.

I just started to use firefox after a decade later and i loved having many options in pdf editing. however not fixing such an important and easy thing for 3 years... I guess I will look for an alternative again.

Without it, as other mentioned, using Firefox's native PDF editor can become rather annoying (particularly if you need to read a long text over time). 

Is there an expected timeline for this feature (saving changes in PDF without asking location each time)?
In a few months maybe? I don't really want to install another PDF editor on my next computer 🙂
