Automatically update old search engine favicons to new ones

I think the subject line basically says it all! Some websites change their favicons once in a while, and I realize that you can use the mozlz4-edit add-on to edit search engines and their favicons, but this is really hard to do! And it would be nice if they could just be changed/upgraded to the new site favicon automatically on the everything/URL bar or whatever it's called these days.
