Automatically Clear Cache On Shutdown

I would like to be able to clear my cache automatically like FF does with history rather than having to check a box in settings EVERY time so I don't clear log in information.

@Anonymous (& @Jon ) I used to have the options in your screen cap in a prior version of FF. My FF 108 options are different than what you show.

@Geffyou have to set Firefox to Use custom settings for history first to see the other options.

@Anonymous   I'm a dunderhead. I've been in there numerous times & didn't see the cache check box.

It still requires user input every time. In the old days, it was automatic if the correct settings were checked.

It would be nice if we could revert back to old FF behavior, where boxes only had to be checked once, & items selected would automatically be deleted with shutdown, requiring no interaction from the user.

I had no problems with this issue until the Jan '24 update, now "clearing the cache" only works sometimes.
