Currently, the Firefox "New Tab" page features article recommendations curated by Mozilla through Pocket (under "Thought-provoking stories"). While this is a nice feature for general browsing, it doesn't always match the specific interests of every user. If a user wants to follow specific technology blogs, niche websites, or independent creators, they have to navigate to multiple sites daily or rely on third-party, resource-heavy extensions that often clutter the browser.
Suggestion: Instead of a static, generic curated feed, Firefox should offer a native option to turn the New Tab page into a personal RSS Timeline.
Users could simply add the RSS/Atom URLs of their favorite websites directly in the New Tab settings. The current card layout (the grid format) is already perfect for this! Firefox could automatically fetch the latest headlines from the user's chosen sources and display them in clean, organized columns or blocks (e.g., a block for Tech News, another for Linux, another for Development).
