Making moves
Status: New idea

A few releases ago, in Firefox  154 if I'm not mistaken, I could press Ctrl+Shift+Home/End to move the current tab to first/last position (respectively) among the tabs in the current window. This doesn't seem to work any more, in Firefox 157.

I think I understand why this was removed: the default behaviour of Ctrl+Shift+Home/End is to extend the selection to the start/end of the page (an extension of the default behaviour of Shift+Home/End which does so to the start/end of the line); not to move the current tab.

That said, I found the former tab behaviour to be more useful than the latter selection behaviour.

Could the tab behaviour be reintroduced, unbound by default, but bindable to Ctrl+Shift+Home/End (or any other combo) via about:keyboard? 🤔 Searching about:keyboard for "tab" shows no movement-related commands.
