Firefox has a network proxy feature, but it uses the SOCKS v5 protocol, which is quite unsafe because the protocol isn’t encrypted and is very old. So, I recommend using the latest Xray core, which is the mainstream proxy software core. With the Xray core, you can support protocols like VLESS, Trojan, Reality, HY2, and so on, all of which are definitely safer than SOCKS v5.
