It's been a year and not a single comment? But yes, this would mean the world for consistency across all Mac apps. Even with the relatively new about:keyboard, we can't use the Fn/Globe key to manually set this.

Yes. "Escaping" a container is also difficult. I sometimes want this when opening a link from a containered website (like WhatsApp Web). I'd have to copy the URL and paste it into a blank tab so it opens in its default container.

I believe i read on the Firefox subreddit that this is already in development.
