Add a memory usage indication to each tab like Chrome/Edge does when you hover over the tab. It would also be nice if a small picture of the website appeared. Indicating if the tab is asleep or not would be cool, too. That's my 2 cents. Thank you for reading.

Display RAM taken by each tab when hovering

Hello again!

Just like in ms edge, the RAM currently being taken up by a tab should be displayed below the tab preview while hovering over it in Firefox desktop. It's helpful for users who are concerned about the performance and power consumption of their devices, especially low-end pc/laptop users.

Thank you!

Come on devs, not to sound like a di** but it's been more than a year just so you can add a simple way for us to see memory usage by hovering over tabs? I really love this feature in Chrome, but a lot of people need it badly here on Firefox too. Some basic modern features (like this one) should already be available on FF long time ago. It's not a bad thing if you guys keep checking the competition and quickly copy their ideas if it actually improves your product and makes your users happier, instead of relying on this "voting" idea.

Like what BenA said, there really needs to be a *cumulative* CPU usage measure by tab in Firefox -- even if we could just get this in the Firefox task manager -- equivalent to Windows task manager's "CPU time".
