I can't see a way to easily add an email to a Calander event in the future.

So it would be great if I could Right Click on an email and create a follow-up Calander event in the future so I can action emails that may not need to be actioned for 2 or 3 weeks.

I can do it in google (personal) and Outlook (other job), but I keep Thunderbird for our family business and I can't find a way of doing it.

Thankyou

Strollin' around

I second the need for such functionality but would propose a different implementation approach.

I.e., for me it would work best to set reminders directly in emails (using, in principle, an empty INBOX approach) where I can right-click on a message (header) to set a reminder for some later date/time, which makes this email move to Archives/ or a dedicated followup/ folder and then comes back to the top of the INBOX when the reminder is due.

Familiar face

Does the right click on the email convert to menu not already do that?  Either an event or as a task in your task list.  My recollection is it even pastes in the text from the body of the email.
