While signed into Firefox,  I switched over to messenger, opened the text that had a pixel image (that wasn't apparent) containing some sort of process that allowed the accessing of my Firefox saved passwords.  could you add a feature that requires me being sent an email, text, pin, or retype a scrambled word picture to confirm it's legitimate? I think it would have prevented whatever that hacker did. When I next accessed Messenger, it was opened with a text containing a password that was obtained via Firefox, but hadn't been sent. I immediately screened for viruses, with 2 products and cleaned the cache, closed the phone, and rebooted. Before I deleted the message, I noticed it contained an undetectable jpg you couldn't see, but was listed in the more details section.

OK adding that function providing it can be switched off.  Messing about as you suggest would negate the convenience of storing passwords in the first place.

Firefox already has a Master Password mechanism, though how securely that is stored I don't know.
