This is a suggestion for a temporary automated bookmark feature in Firefox. With this feature, you can press a key to save a website that will open the next time Firefox is launched. This is helpful because not everyone wants every site to open when Firefox launches. Having a temporary bookmark that is quick and easy to set up would be great.
Hereโs how it would work:
- Find an interesting website that youโd like to read later.
- You want to close Firefox but save the website (and the setting to have Firefox reopen to the last link is off).
- Press a button/shortcut (e.g., Ctrl+O).
- The website will now open the next time Firefox is launched, even if the setting to enable it globally is disabled.
