Dear [Browser Developer Team],

As a dedicated user of your browser, I am writing to express my strong support for the addition of a second sidebar. This feature would greatly improve my overall browsing experience and provide me with more flexibility and convenience.

Having the ability to open multiple sources of information simultaneously in a second sidebar would allow me to easily compare data, reference material, and switch between tasks with ease. This would save me time and increase my productivity, as I would no longer have to constantly switch between tabs.

Furthermore, the addition of a second sidebar would also benefit the add-ons I use on a daily basis. With the ability to utilize the second sidebar, add-ons would be able to provide me with even more tools and resources, such as translation tools, news feeds, and social media widgets, in a convenient and streamlined manner.

I believe that the addition of a second sidebar would be a valuable addition to your browser and would greatly enhance the user experience. I urge you to consider implementing this feature in future updates.

Thank you for your time and consideration.

There used to be an add-on, but it didn't survive the switch to WebExtensions.

agreed. something similar to the edge sidebar where you can add websites and apps might be a good idea, alongside being able to add extensions such as bitwarden and onetab.

This is the big feature that keeps me on Vivaldi instead of Firefox.

I don't even think it needs to be a second sidebar - just a way to easily (with GUI) have multiple sidebar applications, like how Vivaldi/opera do it. though a second sidebar would be nice too. I'd put my calendar on there in a heartbeat

I totally second this. In fact, I suggest generalizing this into "multiple sidebars", where the user can simply click an "Add new sidebar" button to create a new one, then put whatever they want in it.

Surprisingly, Edge's new sidebar isn't terrible! You've got AI chat which saves having to open a new tab and open a bunch of search results (which also means you can't see the original tab - you have to switch back and forth). You also get Insights about the current site, like rating, traffic stats, etc. Hopefully pics come out OK, uploading to this site was hit and miss

Vivaldi's sidebar is the only thing keeping me over there. At least a way to have pinned apps such as that (or similar to wavebox) would be great here.
