These days Firefox throws up so many annoying popups. If you install a fresh one, you get bombarded with popups for a while and even on old installs you still randomly get those. Like, I am trying to work here and Firefox just threw a "Keep your favorite threads in your taskbar" popup at me in an entirely jarring, focus-breaking manner: for the love of god, can't you just collect these kinds of things in one place in Firefox's UI and just provide a setting to simply disable them altogether? Why do they need to so jarringly appear in the middle of whatever you're doing, stealing focus? What's even more annoying that they don't even seem to check if you're actively typing or not, possibly interrupting that as well!

Bonjour
Use web apps in Firefox https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/web-apps-firefox-windows
Take a look at screenshots https://connect.mozilla.org/t5/discussions/take-project-nova-for-a-spin-in-nightly/m-p/136360/highli...
Take a look at the preference browser.taskbarTabs.enabled

What's the point in replying if you don't even read what I said? You're just wasting my time.

Just a question, have you checked the preference, browser.taskbarTabs.enabled
1 - Go to configuration editor https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/about-config-editor-firefox
2 - Enter a search term browser.taskbarTabs.enabled
You can double-click on the preference to set the value to false

I did not ask how to disable that feature.
