With the recent update on iOS the part of the browser with the website address field became too tall (I've marked the area on the screenshot). It is VERY distracting. This field used to be smaller and it worked fine, not it just takes quite a lot of space for no reason.
The screenshot was taken on iPad.
In addition, this area used to collapse when scrolling down the webpage, now it collapses only when scrolled up (which is counter-intuitive).
PLEASE make this area smaller again and fix the way it collapses during scroll.
If the accessibility was the concern, please, make this look at least optional.

I also have the same issue after the recent iOS update, and I agree that the browser address bar taking up so much vertical space makes browsing less comfortable, especially on an iPad. The previous layout felt more compact and allowed me to focus on the actual webpage instead of having a large browser interface taking up part of the screen. It becomes particularly frustrating when reading long articles or browsing websites with a lot of content, because every bit of screen space matters. I understand that some of these changes might be related to accessibility or making controls easier to use, but there should ideally be a balance between accessibility and keeping the browsing experience clean and convenient.
