I encountered a problem today, and found a solution, when trying to access my Amazon account via a link in an email sent by Amazon when using Firefox. NOTE: I only encounter this problem when using my s26 android. When using a 2015 macbook, there is no problem.
Problem: When I click the link and go to Amazon website, I am asked to supply my email address. But after doing so, when I click the yellow 'continue' button, the empty sign-in slot asking for email address re-appears. This repeats nonstop.
Solution: Go to Firefox settings > 'open links in apps' , and change to 'never'. Problem solved (for me).
