I just started using Firefox on Android and there's a lot, I don't know what's in the pipeline, but I'll list them by section.
General UI Improvements
• Status bar in landscape orientation should be hidden. Ideally with edge-to-edge, status bar should be hidden whenever app content is not being inset by the display cutout insets and the behavior should be to show status bars by transient swipe (pull from edge).
• Pull to refresh improvements. Particularly, it needs an enablement state to prevent it being accidentally triggered when a user is just trying to do something else. In particular, it needs to be aware of other UI settings like "hide toolbar on scroll". Then, pull to refresh should only be active on a new down-swipe gesture after the page is fully scrolled to the top and the toolbar is visible. If the top of the page is reached while scrolling, continuing to over-scroll shouldn't engage pull to refresh, it should only pull on the next new pull gesture after the page is at the top.
Bookmarks
• Bookmark customizeable manual sorting. There is a "custom sort order" option, but no way to edit what that sort order is, at least as far as I can tell.
• New bookmark placement should be at the top of the folder in custom sort ordering (currently appends at end).
• Moving multiple bookmarks improvement. Currently, multiple bookmarks can be selected and moved at once and their sort order is maintained, however, bookmarks fail to get moved when the selection contains regular bookmarks and folders of bookmarks (folders have to be moved separately).
Toolbar/Address Bar
• Hide to scroll, when to re-show. Currently, any scroll up re-shows the toolbar/address bar. Rather than always showing on an up scroll, it should show only when the top is reached on scroll up, or otherwise show on a pull from the edge when page content can be scrolled.
Homepage Shortcuts
• Custom re-ordering. The current sort order is just the order in which they're added.
• Edit Shortcut Image. The default behavior appears to be to use a website's Favicon for the shortcut button, which is fine, but not all websites have one setup, or have one that's ugly/poorly designed, it would be nice to be able to change the image manually.
• Shortcut Sizing Or number per row and Expandable Column (set number of shortcuts per row). Currently, to see all shortcuts, it looks like a new screen is shown with all of them. Having them as a flow column of some type and an expand button at the bottom would be better, showing the first two rows and a simple tap to expand the column to show all or contract the column back to just the two rows.
