## Tabs List

### Allow Tabs List to be opened with a keyboard shortcut in linear Tab cycle mode

Currently, the "Tabs List" can be opened using a configurable keyboard shortcut (the default is `Shift+Ctrl+Tab`), but only when the "Ctrl+Tab cycles through tabs in recently used order" setting is enabled.

### Provide configurable keyboard shortcuts to scroll the Tabs List

Currently the Tabs List - once focused - can be scrolled by
- pressing `Tab` or `Shift+Tab` repeatedly
- using the `PageUp` and `PageDown` keys
- using the arrow keys

My hands would be very grateful for the ability to remap these options.

### Focus current tab in Tabs List when opened with keyboard shortcut

When the Tabs List is opened using the existing keyboard shortcut, it's not possible to interact with it immediately using the keyboard. You have to press `Tab` first to highlight the first option in the Tabs List.

It would be much faster for the current tab to be focused in the Tabs List, especially when my current tab is in the middle of a long list.

### Add a searchbar to the Tabs List

- should filter tabs from the list in response to user input
- should be focusable using another configurable keyboard shortcut

## Vertical Tabs Sidebar

I'm new to Vertical Tabs and it's growing on me.

I'd already been using the Tabs List for some time and having it appear on top of the current web page is less disorienting than opening the sidebar and causing the page to resize.

Despite this, the Vertical Tabs sidebar takes up less useful space and has potential to be the better option.

### Create a setting to have the Vertical Tabs sidebar render "on top / in front" of the current page

Similarly to how the Tabs List does.

### Provide configurable keyboard shortcuts to scroll Vertical Tabs sidebar

Currently the Vertical Tabs sidebar - once focused - can be navigated and scrolled by

- using the arrow keys
- using the `PageUp` and `PageDown` keys

respectively.

Using the arrow keys allows for quick switching to adjacent tabs, but requires changing tabs (potentially many times) to see more of the list.

Using the `PageUp` and `PageDown` keys allows you to see more of the list, but doesn't allow you to select any of the tabs in the visible portion of the list.

My hands would be very grateful for the ability to

- scroll the Vertical Tabs sidebar
- select any of the tabs currently visible in the sidebar

with custom mappable options.

### Focus current tab in Tabs List when opened with keyboard shortcut

When the Vertical Tabs sidebar is opened using the existing keyboard shortcut, it's not possible to interact with it immediately using the keyboard.

You have to press `Tab` multiple times until the sidebar is focused, at which point the current tab is highlighted.

So far the fastest way I've found to focus the sidebar is to focus the address bar with `Ctrl + L` and then press `Tab` three times.

### Add a searchbar to the Vertical Tabs sidebar

- should filter tabs from the list in response to user input
- should be focusable using another configurable keyboard shortcut

## Conclusion

I've seen some thoughtful improvements recently and I'm hoping that these can be prioritized for accessibility. I'm looking forward to feedback on these ideas!
