Two features requests for Firefox Android

Making moves

Hi Dev Team,

Is there any chance we can implement/bring back two features from old Fenix days? Those features also exist on other mobile browsers as well but at least for me, desperately missing on Firefox Android.

1. Close all tabs between browser sessions. For old Fenix and current Edge Mobile, there is an option to allow user to choose whether to preserve tabs between browser sessions, i.e., "swiping away" the browser from Android task switcher, and next time starting the browser you have a new window with 0 tabs open.

Currently Firefox Android only allows that when user explicitly select "Exit" from menu, but that is very counter-intuitive and very few people will choose to do that.

2. Hold and delete suggestions/history from address bar. Sometimes when typing in Firefox Android address bar to search, there are mistypes, and those history/suggestions will show up along with normal entries, which is very annoying. Kiwi/Edge both support hold and delete those suggestions, along with corresponding search engine browsing history, from the address bar (although Edge side this is a bit shaky).

Firefox, on the other hand, not only does not provide the hold and delete from address bar, but even after manually deleting corresponding history entries, those suggestions still show up and there is no clear way of how to get rid of them.

Please consider implementing those features as they both increase the user experience and bring FF on par with other browsers on mobile.
