Turn Off Update

Surely someone out there knows how to Turn Off the Update prompt. Every time I start Firefox it says... "Update Available"...Download the latest version of Firefox. I don't want to do that. Have downgraded to version 100 and it works significantly better. No more Fedex malfunctions. No more long waits for You Tube, Bing. No more Yahoo Email malfunctions. No more page loading problems on a wide variety of web sites. It is plain to see that the upgrades after version 100 have made matters worse. Way too many bugs have been introduced. So at least stop pestering me... now that I have gone back to a more stable older version.

Here's how you turn off the updates:

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Policies\Mozilla\Firefox]

"DisableAppUpdate"=dword:00000001

Put that inside a notepad and rename the extension to reg. When you run it, it will Turn Off the updates.

To turn updates back on a gain, you would use the following code:

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Policies\Mozilla\Firefox]

"DisableAppUpdate"=-
