Dear Mozilla Team,
First, I want to thank you for your dedication to improving Firefox. It’s a fantastic browser that continues to prioritize user productivity and customization. I particularly appreciate the Firefox View feature for its seamless integration of recent browsing, open tabs, and history across devices.
However, I noticed a few areas where Firefox View could be even more user-friendly:
Shortcut for "Firefox View"
Firefox View currently lacks a native keyboard shortcut, which makes accessing it less efficient for those who rely on shortcuts for navigation. For example, the "Ctrl + Shift + Tab" shortcut (when "Ctrl+Tab cycles through tabs in recently used order" is enabled) provides an incredibly useful "List all tabs" pop-up for managing tabs efficiently. A similar shortcut for Firefox View would make it much easier to access without relying on the mouse.
Customizable keyboard shortcuts
Expanding on the idea of shortcuts, it would be incredibly beneficial to include a feature allowing users to natively create and customize keyboard shortcuts for browser functions. This would give users greater control over their browsing experience, catering to individual workflows and improving accessibility.
Improved sorting options in Firefox View
In the "Open Tabs" section of "Firefox View", users can sort tabs by "Sort by recent activity" or "Sort by tab order," but the latter only allows sorting in ascending order. Adding an option to sort tabs in descending order would be particularly helpful for users managing a large number of tabs, allowing quicker access to recently added tabs.
These enhancements would align with the productivity-focused tools Firefox already provides, making Firefox View as dynamic and efficient as features like the "List all tabs" pop-up.
Thank you for considering these suggestions, and I look forward to seeing how Firefox continues to innovate for its users.
Best regards,
