Updates to Thunderbird on my system have: (1) when I open TB, new messages are downloaded to my inbox or sorted into folders and TB no longer automatically goes/places the user where the new emails are. I have to scroll down. Say 7 or so updates ago, that wasn't so and I'd like a return to automatic placment at most recent emails in the inbox.
(2), the cc & bcc fx are more awkward to use or less "intuitive."
(3) release notes for Mozilaa, whether TB or FF no longer provide any informaiton for non-tech people about effect of the updates. It's made me less wiling to download updates. There's been changes to privacy & security fx in FF and if I'd known that's what would be changed, I probably wouldn't have downloaded the update. Again, at one time there was non-technical information in the release notes, it'd be great if time coulid be taken to tell the relativelyi tech illiterate who've been using FF and TB for years anyway, what has changed.
