Some Federal Agencies require applicants to use Chrome and you cannot access them with Firefox

My organization prefers to use Firefox and other open source tools.  However, increasingly, we cannot access some federal sites - we can't get passwords to required grant reporting systems to work.  The help desks require us to use Chrome or a few other browsers.  We think federal agencies should serve its constituents regardless of the platforms they choose to use.  Are others having this experience and is Mozilla addressing this issue?

Can you share URL of the page you can't use in Firefox? And some instructions so we can try to reproduce the problem? Thank you!

Like, what? It seems to me that they use Screen Sharing API. I had to use Brave to record my speech.

Some Googling revealed these sites mentioning the issue:

https://posherva.com/

https://eticket.mozio.com/

https://kubecampus.io/kubernetes/learning-kubernetes-faq/

Other results were too specific. It's puzzling why they claim to only support Chrome when Firefox strives for strong standards compatibility.

The NIFA Reporting Portal and REEport application are currently active. Microsoft Edge and Google Chrome are the preferred browsers for accessing the NIFA Reporting Portal. For general

Note from me- my password kept failing and I kept getting locked out until I moved to Chrome.
