HOW TO GET RID OF LOGO

TriBabe2009
Making moves

I am running version 158.  The logo is STILL there.  I have spend several hours searching topics and NOTHING WORKS .. I have been in about:config at least 10 times, checking this, changing that, and NOTHING has worked to remove that stupid logo.  I even got into Nightly (whatever the hell that is) and NOTHING listed there worked....  I really enjoyed Firefox...  now, i'm ready to uninstall and move on...

@TriBabe2009 : it's unclear which logo you mean, but assuming it's the one on the "Firefox Home" page (the one you see when bringing up a new tab) then just go to Menu -> Settings -> Home and Startup , scroll-down to the "Firefox Home" category then turn-off "Firefox logo":

TurnOffFirefoxLogo.PNG

Or when you're on the New Tab screen, click the icon of the pencil-inside-a-circle, in the bottom-right, then click "⚙ Manage more settings" at the bottom of that pop-up and it'll take you to the same screen

If this isn't the logo you mean, maybe post a screenshot of which Firefox Logo you're trying to remove?

@TriBabe2009 : glad the solution worked for you, but I'm surprised in your "several hours searching topics" and going into "about:config at least 10 times" that you didn't think once just to go into the main Firefox menu, then Settings and then type logo into the search-box there?

If you do that, the "Firefox logo" on / off setting is literally the first result.  I'd suggest if you have any future "how do I turn this off" type issues, maybe try the main Settings first. 👍🏻
