New installs of Firefox automatically enabling "Open Firefox automatically when your computer starts up" -- NO NO NO!

Who in the world decided that it was a good idea for "Open Firefox automatically when your computer starts up" to AUTOMATICALLY be checked for everyone?  This is BAD.  It is ANNOYING.  I'm not sure exactly what version this happened (somewhere around 152?).  PLEASE STOP THIS.

I am talking about setting up a new system (Windows), with a new/fresh install of Firefox, and now everyone that logs into the computer, whenever they start Firefox for the first time it AUTOMATICALLY chooses the option "Open Firefox automatically when your computer starts up".  Those of us "in the know", know we can go into settings and disable it -- but WHY SHOULD WE HAVE TO DO THIS?  I do not want programs just (sneakily) making the decision to start every time I login to my computer.  And those that aren't quite as "tech savvy" don't know how to stop it.  What a wonderful way to turn people off to Firefox!

Unsure if this is happening for existing users that get "updated", but most definitely for new installs.

PLEASE STOP THIS.
