I’ve been thinking about how Firefox should approach AI as AI tools become a bigger part of everyday browsing. Privacy is one of the main reasons many people choose Firefox, so it would be interesting to see how new AI features could be introduced without compromising user data. Could Firefox focus more on local or on-device AI processing where possible, rather than sending personal browsing information to external servers? I’d also like to know what kind of data protection and transparency users should expect from AI-powered browser features. How do others think Firefox can balance useful AI features with strong online privacy?

I think Firefox should prioritize on-device AI whenever possible, so useful features don’t require sending sensitive browsing data to external servers. Clear privacy controls and transparency about what data is collected would also go a long way in building user trust.
