Google AI overview high cpu usage (80%)

After a search with Google, if the Ai overview section displays the "Ask anything" text area, then cpu runs constantly around 80% with no interaction with computer, otherwise 10-15% when nothing is doing serious work. This way it is making the browser unusable until that tab is closed.

Hello!

Thank you your answer.
I tried the suggested filter, it helps a lot. Already using ublock-origin for years, but couldn't figure out with it.
Also the Firefox profiler became super complicated for me. (i used developer tools years earlier, writing website in php) When to click, start, what it records, which layer, where is the thing i need, etc. Tried a few times, but i saw a mess, that thing in the comment i never found.

So now it reaches a 20-30% instead of 10-15%, but it is much better than 80%.
So thanks again.

I added this to ublock filters and it dropped my cpu usage from 40-50% to <2%

This also works. Thanks.
My laptop is old, i think therefore the still higher usage, but it's ok.
But when i click in the "Ask anything" box (just tried, not using otherwise), then Firefox usage itself goes to 30-50% constantly, until i click other part of page.

no idea why it works, but thanks how you figure that x3

a side effect for me other than high CPU, with that chat box. it leaves lingering process spinning 90% CPU even after i close the Google tab (they also stacks so two tabs mean two lingering process eating more memory) and slowly crawling higher in term of memory usage till i SIGKILL'ed it via task manager
