Firefox Sync Reliability Issues.

I believe the Sync feature requires a comprehensive review, primarily for two reasons:

  1. Reliability issues: The Sync function is unreliable. Even when using the manual sync button, it often fails to synchronize properly.
  2. Questionable necessity of manual sync: Most users prefer automatic synchronization. The existence of a manual sync button likely stems from the underlying reliability issues with Sync.
  3. If reinstall Firefox on your device, Sync will have issues recognizing the same device twice.

While there is a page outlining how to report such bugs, unfortunately, Sync doesn't work, and my Firefox about:sync-log shows nothing (the log file does not exist).

In conclusion, I think there are numerous flaws in the Sync feature of the Firefox browser, particularly when setting up and using Sync in my Windows Desktop Firefox environment.

Therefore, I believe the overall Sync feature needs to be thoroughly re-examined and improved.

@Hevel No one responded from Mozilla. Its so sad that they are ignoring this well known issue. We want to use Firefox as our primary browser but they don't seem to care

Due to persistent sync issues between Android and Desktop versions, I cannot make this work. Moving to a Chromium based browser for now until the sync issue is fixed fully.
