Hey everyone (my first post!)
I just got the Review Checker feature and although I support Mozilla trying new things I really really really really really really really really don't want another icon on the toolbar... "disabling review checker" still keeps the icon in the toolbar on Amazon product pages etc.
Opening the review checker sidebar gives me two buttons "Yes, try it" and "Not now", which, to put it lightly, is a dark pattern that I had hoped to never see again.
Again, I'm supportive of Mozilla shipping new things, but *please* give us the option to actually disable them.

I'd like to echo this sentiment.

Hello
Maybe?
Take a look at https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1868180#c7
Configuration Editor for Firefox https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/about-config-editor-firefox
Search browser.shopping.experience2023.ads.enabled and browser.shopping.experience2023.enabled
I've tested

It looks like switching these to false in about:config gets ride of the icon:
browser.shopping.experience2023.autoOpen.enabled
browser.shopping.experience2023.autoOpen.userEnabled

This worked for me!

Just found Bug 1854243, which seems to indicate that this is not only expected but desired behavior for the button. With the most recent update I'm now fully unable to remove this clutter button even when every single "shopping" flag in about:config is set to false, and now it looks like we're expected to just put up with it.

I expect it'll be possible to hide it with custom CSS. However I can't tell you how as it's not showing on my installation (Firefox 130.0.1); in fact this thread was the first I knew of its existence.
