(bug report) Youtube Dark mode text not showing up in Comment text box!

I Submitted a bug report to YouTube as well but as of the latest update While using YouTube's Dark mode, the text does not show up while trying to in the Comment text box!

Also don't know how to submit bug reports for Firefox, this is the first time trying too do so!

Me too, just started happening all of a sudden. But when I log into a different account the problem goes away. Can't find a solution, Youtube Dark mode text not black on black in Comment text box.

I'm using Microsoft Edge so it's not the browser.

Same issue here, but it only seems to happen in dark mode. It's fine in light mode. It's just not switching text to white for dark mode anymore.

I also am starting to think it may also be a Bug with Windows OS because about 2 or 3 days Windows ran an update. But, that thought might be stretching it a bit! But who really knows.

Same for me on Firefox and Edge BUT on Vivaldi it's working fine. Cant see what I type in comments until I post it then it shows as it supposed to.

I've learned that even though I can't comment a new comment because of that bug but if you click reply on someone else's comment and type it works the way it should work. So, I type the message there and Cut & Paste it into it's own message

Yeah I noticed that too. I'm usually on a desktop and a pretty accurate so I still do it and keep it moving. Haven't checked to see if it does the same on my Smartphone. 🤘🏽
