I'm shocked this isn't part of the site already!

just scrolled through the comments on a post, saw that many of them appear to have been written by bots and/or real users using AI language generators to generate nonsense to troll other users with. I cannot find any way to flag said comments so they can be reviewed and removed!

You should already have the option to flag inappropriate comments - if you click the down arrow 'show option menu' in the right-hand corner of a post, select 'Report Inappropriate Comment' and then you should be able to write a short note explaining why you believe the content is inappropriate. Then the moderation team will review it.
