If i create a new folder it is because I want to put a message in it. The new folder should be added to the current folder mode list. I have over 200 folders so it is a pain to get to the new folder to put a message in it or create a filter.
I would like to be able to pin a folder in the Thunderbird Folder Pane so that it always shows even with no unread messages in it. Right now I have to mark a message as unread to keep the folder showing in the Folder Pane.
Right now if a new message arrives in a thread it is not obvious there is a new message. When a new message arrives in a thread the thread should automatically expand to show the highlighted new message.
Going back to the selections above the tree would be great. I would suggest changing the folder mode selections from check boxes to radio check boxes. When you click on Unread Folders that is already selected it should just redo the filter.
