Pin a message folder in Thunderbird Folder Pane

Status: New idea

I would like to be able to pin a folder in the Thunderbird Folder Pane so that it always shows even with no unread messages in it. Right now I have to mark a message as unread to keep the folder showing in the Folder Pane.

I've used favorite folders for this. When I'm working on an issue with a specific person/company, I favorite their folder and keep favorite folders enabled along with unread.

@PauljgWhat do you currently have selected at ... ?:
"View" -> "Folders" -> only "Unread Folders"? Maybe try "All Folders" instead.
