Work Groups/windows with multiple tabs that can be closed and opened at any time

I often have 50-80 tabs opened in 3-5 windows, but that's a huge load on my PC, that then runs hot and slow. I'd like to be able to close some windows, leaving open only the one or two I'm working on. That will help my PC run cooler and faster.

Is there a way to do this available already, or is this a new idea?

Currently, I have to keep all windows open or I'll lose all those tabs. I need to be able to "park" windows not currently in use and reopen them later, maybe much later, when I want to work on those topics.
