Wallpaper in new tab

Can we have the opportunity to add a wallpaper in the new tab view? Like chrome or edge, that you can upload a picture and use it as a background in the new tab.

Yes, I tried this feature on Firefox Nightly on the Android platform, but it is not available there; it's only available on Firefox Desktop .

I really like the custom color and custom background feature, but unfortunately when selecting a .svg image it's only last for the session, once all windows closed and re-opened there is only a grey background :(. It would be great if it can be fixed!

I will be honest, this is a nice function but... I wonder.... would it be possible to make it so that the background would read from a folder and shuffle a new image every 2-3 hours?

This some something that I have seen Floop manage to do and it is really, really nice.
