With the recent push in promoting the Mozilla Firefox VPN I thought I would give it a try. The first issue I had was that I could not find any mention of it in the menu. I had to search the settings page to find it and then turn it on. It said the next step was to click the button in the top right corner called "VPN" - but that button didn't exist. I restarted Firefox and looked in all of the menus and even the "about:config" page to check that "browser.ipProtection.enabled" was true - which it was. There is no help at all from the Mozilla site. I am in the UK so knew it was supported here.
The Fix: It turns out I had to right click on the toolbar and choose "Customise toolbar" in order to drag the "VPN" button onto my toolbar so it would appear. Now it works great. Perhaps these instructions should be written somewhere as there is still no menu item for VPN or help on the settings page. Without that button added to the toolbar there appears to be no way to turn the VPN on or off.
