Vertical Tabs: per window

Ability to enable/disable vertical tabs per window/for each window individually so windows on some screens can use horizontal tabs while on wider screens they can use vertical tabs.

This would be helpful. Also it would be nice if web extension API also allows toggling vertical tab setting.

Vertical tabs are awesome, but not being able to set vertical tabs per window prevents me from using them.
