Dear Firefox Team,
I am currently testing the vertical tabs feature, and I find it an excellent solution. At first, it may feel a little unintuitive, as users naturally tend to look for tabs at the top of the browser.
For this reason, and also to further increase the available vertical space, which I believe is one of the main goals of the vertical tabs feature, I would like to suggest an additional idea:
- moving the entire browser toolbar to the side as well.
For example, the toolbar could be placed in a small rectangular area at the top of the sidebar, above the vertical tabs. This area could remain visible when the sidebar is open, or collapse/hide when the sidebar is closed.
Best regards,
and congratulations on the excellent work.
