This is an idea for the Containers addon.

When logging in to many different sites, I'm often redirected to https://login.microsoftonline.com/

At this point I'm always asked which container I wish to use this site with, but the problem is that it is the originating login site that determines that as Microsoft login is used on many different sites.

For this reason I'm unable to use the "remember this container for this site" function and so am forced to make the determination every single time.
It would therefore be nice if it was possible to allow the originating site be the determining factor for automatically selected preferred container in regards to SSO logins. Google, Microsoft, any other...

Also even with different Microsoft sites, as with outlook.com, I use my normal work account and thus would like to use a specific container for that account, allowing it to remember login credentials for the normal work account. And AzureAD would use another container to remember the login credentials there, reducing need to re-login or change login from normal work account. But both use https://login.microsoftonline.com/ to authorize.

While it is only a small nuisance to have to select container at login, it would same time and reduce stress if it just happened automatically based on the originating login site, instead of on https://login.microsoftonline.com

Look forward to seeing this improvement in Containers. Love this addon otherwise!

Yes! This has been causing me grief since I started using Firefox and Multi-Account Containers. I have 4 separate microsoft logins, and clicking links is problematic for all that redirect to login.microsoftonline.com. The only way to do it seems to be to copy the link, open the correct container and then paste the link. Having the correct container set from the URL before the redirect would resolve that. Can't wait for a solution for this. I've been considering moving back to Edge with profiles until it's fixed, but the much greater flexibility I have in the UI layout with Firefox is keeping me with it.
