Status: New idea

It would be nice if you could use Touch ID on Mac, instead of a password to protect the passwords manager. Even better would be if you don't have to fill it in when opening Firefox, but when the password manager is activated, as I don't like to fill in my password every single time I'm opening Firefox.

TouchID requirement when filling in passwords

Please make it possible to authentificate ourselves with Touch ID when logging in with a saved password on MacOS. To have a reference what I mean, check Safari.mac-touch-id-passwort.jpg

I really hope, that this function would be actionable.
