ToDo add on for Thunderbird

I would really love a ToDo-add on like MS ToDo for Thunderbird.
A ToDo list that doesnt require an action to have a date.

I hate to be logged in to MS and store things there.

Hi @LasseT, try File -> New -> Task.
You can also view Tasks by clicking the 4th icon in the Spaces Toolbar (on the left) that looks like a checkmark ✅.

Does that suit what you're trying to do?

my bad!
My problem is that the calendar I use is the one at one.com and that doesn't support "tasks" or Todo-lists.

How will task's/ToDo-lists be handled in the new mobile Thunderbird?

I would like to jump on this topic here.

I agree with the requestor. It would be nice to have a simple "to-do" list in Thunderbird.

My vision about this TDL is like this:

1. Create a to-do item with the properties:
   1. Creation date
   2. target completion date
   3. to-do item
   4. status (open, complete, delayed)
   5. description
2. update To-do item
   1. set status to: -complete, -delayed (perhaps based on today's date), -complete
3. have a single To-do item view
4. have a list about of the to-do items with sort capability
   
   1. date of creation (ascending/descending)
   2. completion date
   3. status 
5. and applied filter: complete only, delayed only, open only

That would be really nice 🙂

I even would consider a donation for that.

Hi, I would like to add the idea that starred mails (or maybe mails with a certain tag) automatically get added to your selected todo list. So if you're in a calendar that supports todo items, and you star an e-mail, make that e-mail show up in your todo list.

This could additionally be something like, if the todo is marked done, unstar the e-mail, or something.

Hi, I would like to expand on that idea:

If I star an e-mail, I want it to automatically show up in my selected calendar's todo list.

If I unstar the e-mail, I want it to get removed from said list.

If I mark the todo item done, I want the e-mail to get unstarred.

Is that something you could do?
