Hello Firefox Team,
I propose expanding Firefox’s hybrid model to ensure long-term sustainability while keeping privacy and independence at the core. The free core browser should remain fully functional, while an optional paid premium tier could include AI-powered browsing tools, advanced anti-tracking, cloud sync, and priority updates. Optional privacy-friendly ads (like DuckDuckGo) could support both free and paid users, fully anonymized and opt-in only. Additionally, a Firefox Pro version for businesses and subscription bundles with Mozilla services could provide high-value revenue streams. Combining these approaches balances user adoption, financial stability, privacy, and innovation, ensuring Firefox remains competitive and independent.
Best regards,
AR
