I have multiple machines, Windows 10, 11, and Linux that all share the same profile. When Thunderbird on one machine updates to newer version, then I open Thunderbird on another machine, it fails to connect to the mail files because it recognizes that the saved mail files are from a newer version. I would love to see that fixed so the mail files are forward and backward compatible.
