Status: New idea

Apple's Mail on iOS has this feature where it memorizes where you move messages to. I think, it is somehow based on subject/recipient/sender. It would be nice to have that in Thunderbird, on top of the "Move to 'foo' again" where it only uses the last moving location for the previous message.

Organize Your Messages by Using Filters
Message filters allow you to set up Thunderbird to organize your messages automatically. Each account has its own set of filters. Filters can move messages to folders, delete them, forward them to other email addresses, and more.
