Please add the ability to see tags on emails, add/remove them, and add tags to the side bar with folders. Would like similar abilities for tags as the desktop application! Thanks!

Yes, Mozilla please add this! Android Thunderbird is good but this it the number one feature I need for it to be great!

I use tags on all my desktop installations (luckily they're automatically synced cross platform on all my OSes) and I am really missing to see and add/remove/edit the tags on my mobile TB too!

Absolutely a must have! This is also for me the most missing feature, especially to have a easy way to navigate between tagged mails in the folder sidebar.

On the desktop i have the "Tag-Panel" directly above the folder list and I miss it everytime I read my mails on Android.

Yes to this! And please also support IMAP Keywords (ie, the ability for tags that are stored server-side to be read and displayed), same as Thunderbird Desktop supports. 🙂

This is much needed for the Android client to be useful! I would like to go through my mail, move items and/or tag them while commuting to work. Tags would be perfect to assign importance or find todos to handle when I'm at my computer.

Moving over from Gmail via Proton to a more "conventional" IMAP-provider (Infomaniak), I missed the label-concept in both Gmail and Proton, I started to tag most incoming mails with IMAP-flags (using Sieve) setting up the corresponding tags in Thunderbird (Desktop) ... it works really well for me as a way of organizing, filtering and finding mails in folders ... as well or better than labeled e-mails ever did 🙂

BUT, I would love to be able to setup the same (IMAP-flags based) tags in the Android version of Thunderbird!

So ... I really, really support this idea!
Please, let me know if there is anything I can do to help make it come true!
