Tags on Thunderbird Android

Please add the ability to see tags on emails, add/remove them, and add tags to the side bar with folders. Would like similar abilities for tags as the desktop application! Thanks!

Agree 1000%! Without this highly valuable feature many with me will sadly NOT be able to make Thunderbird the daily driver for mobile. Suffice to say: simple filter rules together with tags would be super!

Indeed, please add; the sooner, the better.

As pointed out here , this feature has been requested 11 years ago already. Was apparently on the roadmap four years ago, but vanished for no stated reason.

Instead of putting efforts in the I-don't-know-how-manyth version of a new desktop design (which many despise), Mozilla should be focusing on its core business, namely creating software that is functionally ahead of the competition. That defines the right to play, layout comes later. IMHO.

I use the ThunderAI extension to automatically add tags to filter into (Priority, Review, Probably Junk, & Art). I'm an artist. Adding tags would be a great boon for Thunderbird mobile.  Including the ability to add extensions would be fabulous as well.

Please add it soon! I get a lot of mail and depend on the tags.  When I'm away from my desktop and I have to fall back to the app, I'm afraid to open an email since I can't tag it and may lose track of it. I basically just use the thunderbird app to read the subjects on the list. It really doesn't seed that hard a feature, you have code from the desktop.

Right now, I'm switching to Thunderbird (desktop and Android), and I really miss this feature on Android!
