Synced WORK SPACES (or Synced Tab Groups)

Tab groups and sync extensions has already been suggested but yet to be implemented.

With Firefox it is possible to send (copies of) Tabs to other device as well as open up (a new copy) of tabs from other devices with the Synced Tabs feature. Using these are tedious and gets arduous. Plus now you have the same website(S) open on different devices and will show up in the "Synced Tabs" as separate tabs making the Sync Tabs list bulky and inefficiently redundant.

I work in one window, multiple tabs, (its easy to loose tabs when working in multiple windows).

I want when I close a tab on one device, it closes on all my devices. Open, change URL, etc. While this may not be good for classic browsing on multiple devices, using separate spaces/groups that sync together turns multiple devices into a single seamless continuity.

tab groups are organized by user preference and not device and by Syncing tab groups it will feel like working on a single device instead of multiple devices. Closing a tab in a group will mean that the tab is closed on all devices, etc. Separate devices can have different active groups.

Extensions exist that can group tabs, backup, and restore, but they cannot be synced live which is something I believe Firefox can and should implement themselves if they are not willing to sync all extension settings/data.

This is the last feature that is preventing me a switch from ms edge. MS edge's workspace is a very convenient feature. Please implement it in firefox.

Found this post looking for a way to just do Easy tab syncing.

Tried Edge and is just what I need. But I prefer using Firefox

If someone is working on multiple projects, they can create a workspace to organize the open tabs they have for each project. Whenever they want to work on that project, they can easily open its respective Workspace and have everything they need in one place on any device. Firefox would be amazing with this!

Add option to sync Tab Groups between devices

Hi!

I just discovered this feature and saved many tabs into it. When switching devices I discovered the tab groups are not synced between them (I can only see them as opened tabs on the other device). Please consider adding them to the Sync.

looking forward to really include tab group synced to be openned in other instances. Tab groups are best for research for something, that is simply in one tabgroup / window and. could be closed and saved. Appreciated something like sync this tab group to other instances. Hope you solve this soon.

id need this as a feature to make the switch to firefox. i just came from chrome, but i used tab groups across my devices daily since i dont have access to my main device once a week!
i thought this would be an implemented feature with the general sync and was confused as to why it wasnt, but since it isn't i cant properly function with firefox 😔
