I just updated Firefox to v.140, and now it takes FOUR CLICKS where it should be one:

Suppose you enter a text (to search) into the Search field of New Page. (That's how I do my searches usually). => By default, it gets my default search engine's ("DuckDuckGo") prefix.

To use a different Search Engine (which I need very often: Wikipedia, UrbanDictionary, etc etc):

  1. Click "x" to remove the "DuckDuckGo" prefix.
  2. Click the drop-down button ("v") of the search menu.
  3. Click the search engine I want to use.
  4. Click"Right Arrow" to start the search.

So it's 4 clicks where it should be one:

  1. Click the icon of the search engine at the bottom of the search suggestions (like they were shown in earlier versions). -> Have the search running.

Searching by different engine: immediate research just after selecting the engine.

Firefox hides search engines – A frustrating change!

Seriously: why 4 clicks (in one of the most often used functionality) instead of one???

At the same time, it also brings a confusing address bar icon.
