Support subscribing to JSON Feed inside Thunderbird

In addition to subscribing to RSS feeds inside of Thunderbird I would like to see support for JSON Feeds - https://www.jsonfeed.org/

This will help web scraping, direly needed for sites that do not support rss, since manipulating json seemed simpler. I'm using RSS gaurd with python scripts that outputs a jsonfeed to console, RSS gaurd simply treats the script like it treats a url. For more, see ideas for web-scraping for thunderbird.
